Parent Duties
Little Athletics can only function through the assistance of volunteers. Each Saturday morning competition requires each club to provide volunteers to fulfill a range of duties that the club is responsible for.
Seaforth Little Athletics is responsible for the following duties on a Saturday morning:
* Putting out the javelin equipment
* Putting away the javelin equipment after all competitors have finished using it
* Putting out back track gates
* Putting away back track gates
* Selling raffle tickets for 4 competition meetings
* Manning the sign on desk.
Sign on desk: Please pick up paperwork from the computer room by 7.30am at the LATEST
Raffle: Please meet at the Seaforth tent at the LATEST by 7:40am.
Javelin: Please meet at the Western storeroom behind the grand stand at the LATEST by 7.40am.
Back track gates: Please meet at the Western storeroom behind the grand stand at the LATEST by 7.30am.
If you are able to donate raffle prizes then please call the club’s raffle coordinator.
In the event that a child qualifies for zone, regional or state level competition, then parents must perform rostered duties for the Manly Warringah Little Athletics Centre which is over and above their club duties.
This year, each club has introduced a $50 per family parent duty bond to encourage parents to fulfill their parent duties. This bond will be refunded in full when a family completes all of its duties for the season.
